JAM is on again this week (second week in a row!) with Mega Games. I’m not entirely sure what that entails, but come along and find out! We had a great time last Friday night playing Wide Games at Marco Reserve, and we were treated to one of Neil’s excellent object lessons too. Good stuff.

You’re at JAM’s new blog! While you’re here, please go and click the link below the “Subscribe!” heading in the sidebar to subscribe to an e-mail feed of the blog’s posts. You’ll receive one e-mail per day containing all that day’s posts, whenever we publish anything. And of course all the content will be available by going straight to the blog online, too, but we recommend that you subscribe so that you don’t accidentally miss out on anything important.

We’d also like to invite you to come along early on Sunday nights, at 6:15 pm, for some food and fellowship. We’re kind of just starting this up but generally we’ll have some drinks, snacks and comfy chairs to hang out on before the service begins. You’re welcome to come!

JAM is on at 7:30 pm on Friday night! Be there! Come along at 6:15 pm on Sunday night for food and fellowship before the service, too! God bless.

Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! Psalm 105:4

Last night, the Passion movement came to the Sydney Entertainment Centre for the final stop in their 17-city world tour. Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio and the David Crowder*Band were there, and it was a fantastic night. Here are some photos!

JAM GOSS Term 4 Week 1; or, A New Beginning

Welcome to Term 4! We hope you enjoyed your spring holidays! JAM is back this week with Wide Games at Marco Reserve (but we’re meeting at PUC first). We’re looking forward to it because it’s now daylight savings, which means more of an excuse to play outdoor games. We have a whole bunch more planned for this term too, of course, but all will be unveiled in good time.

For now, though, we need to let you know of a somewhat exciting new development: JAM has a blog! We’re glad that you found your way here. It’s still very much a work-in-progress, so we apologise for the mess. We’re excited about the blog, though, because we figure it’ll be slightly easier to update everyone with the latest news plus any interesting things we discover along the way. What we need you to do is follow the link under the “Subscribe!” heading to the right and submit your e-mail address to subscribe to an e-mail feed of the blog’s posts. This means that you’ll be sent an e-mail containing all the posts published on our blog for the day, whenever we publish anything. You can come straight here, too, but we recommend that you subscribe so that you don’t accidentally miss out on anything important. We’re giving you three weeks to get used to the new blog and to subscribe (and of course you can subscribe after that as well) before we stop publishing the old e-mail GOSS.

So JAM is back on at 7:30 pm on Friday night! Be there! Luke Smith is speaking at Sunday Night Worship this Sunday evening at 6:30 pm, too, so come and hear him! God bless.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him. Psalm 103:11

This week: Wide Games!

Cafe Church

We had Cafe Church at Sunday Night Worship last night. We changed things up a little, as you can see from the photos below. The comfy chairs, in-the-round seating and golden late-afternoon sun made everything much more cosier and lovelier than previous Cafe Church evenings. Everyone seemed to agree, too, so you’ll probably see much more of this kind of church in the future. We love it, and we hope you do too. Enjoy the photos.

Welcome!

Welcome! You’ve reached the official blog of JAM Youth Group at Panania Uniting Church in Sydney, Australia. We’ll dress this page up a little as we go along. We’ll probably use the blog to post our somewhat weekly JAM GOSS, but stay tuned for other little tidbits and resources as they come along. Don’t be a stranger!
